About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team.
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
robust and scalable backend systems. You will work closely with frontend developers, data
scientists, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define and implement APIs and data structures.
• Create RESTful APIs to expose backend services to frontend applications.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas using SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS.
• Utilize Docker to containerize applications and streamline deployment.
• Leverage Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications.
• Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in backend systems.
• Implement robust security measures to protect backend systems and data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
• Experience with popular Node.js frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API design.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• Experience with load balancer and proxy server architecture on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud and Amazon AWS services like Serverless, Lambda, EC2, and S3 Bucket.
• Experience with Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline, Code Star, ECR, Jenkins, Fargate, Elasticsearch, and Elastic Cache.
