**Job Title:** Web Application Developer

**About the Job:**

We’re looking for a talented web application developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Laravel. You’ll also work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless user experiences.

**Your Responsibilities:**

* Develop and maintain database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and perform database migrations
* Create and consume APIs to enable communication between different software systems
* Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, optimizing for performance and scalability
* Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications
* Manage codebase using version control systems like Git

**Collaboration is Key:**

* Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
* Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and development processes
* Analyze and resolve technical issues, providing timely solutions to ensure project continuity

**Additional Responsibilities:**

* Implement security measures to protect applications from vulnerabilities
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and the Laravel ecosystem
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
* Monitor application performance and perform optimizations as needed

**What We’re Looking For:**

* Proficiency in PHP, particularly with Laravel
* Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React
* Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases
* Understanding of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern
* Familiarity with web services like RESTful and SOAP APIs
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience: 3 years of PHP experience, total work experience, and software development experience (all preferred)
